Lisa is our Library Administrator, previously holding the title of Library Clerk/Social Media and Website Manager at the library. Lisa has a degree in Applied Photography, working as a professional photographer and graphic designer before joining the library staff. She designed our new logo, and is responsible for the complete redesign, and maintenance of our website. Her duties include management of staff, writing grants, overseeing financial records, ordering books (which she loves as a self-proclaimed reading addict), maintaining the library’s collection, as well as creating content for our website, and posts for our social media channels. If you enjoy our Facebook and Instagram posts, it’s Lisa’s doing.

FAVOURITE BOOK: It changes all the time, but right now it has to be “The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot” by Marianne Cronin. You will fall in love with seventeen-year-old Lenni, and 83-year-old Margot, as they while away their days in the hospital painting one image for each of their combined 100-years. This book made me laugh-out-loud, it made me sob, it made me feel. While it’s a book about dying, at it’s heart, it is also an ode to living.
FAVOURITE GENRES: Mystery/Thriller, Historical Fiction, and Literary Fiction
PHYSICAL BOOK, eBOOK, or AUDIOBOOK? Physical book, always. Though I will settle for an eBook if it’s the only option.

Meet Saxanee-Rae Hynes Pelletier, our enthusiastic Library Admin Assistant with a passion for all things literary. As an avid reader, Saxanee-Rae brings a wealth of knowledge and a love for books to our library. Her extensive experience as a devoted reader and her knack for picking up new hobbies on a weekly basis make her a versatile and dynamic team member.

Known as the master of hobbies, Saxanee-Rae is always exploring new interests and activities, adding a touch of creativity and energy to everything she does. Her friendly demeanor and zest for learning make her an invaluable part of our library team, ensuring that every visitor feels welcome and engaged.

When she's not assisting with library admin tasks, you might find Saxanee-Rae diving into a new book or mastering a new hobby. Her curiosity and enthusiasm for life keep our library vibrant and full of new ideas.

FAVOURITE BOOK: I have so many but my favourite series that got me into books is the Tudor series by Phillipa Gregory.
FAVOURITE GENRES: Romantasy, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Romance
PHYSICAL BOOK, eBOOK, or AUDIOBOOK? I use all three, but prefer being able to actually smell a book.
