Library membership is free for patrons living in Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach and Cranberry Portage.
NON-RESIDENTS
A non-resident fee of $25.00 per year is charged to temporary residents and those patrons living in:
Schist Lake
Big Island
Bakers Narrows
Sherridon
Snow Lake
Sandy Bay
Deschambault Lake
Pelican Narrows
Tyrell Lake
Wanless
Phantom Lake
TEMPORARY RESIDENTS
Temporary resident cards are available to purchase for $10. They are valid for three months from the date of entry and are a great option for those temporarily visiting our area, such as summer residents.
Temporary residents will be able to borrow four items at a time from the library and have access to the Libby app for borrowing eBooks and audiobooks on their phone.
SIGN-UP REQUIREMENTS
To sign up for a library card, we require:
One piece of government issue photo I.D. with your current address on it. No I.D. with your current address? No problem. Bring in a piece of government issue photo I.D, along with a bank statement or utility bill with your current address on it.
Your telephone number.
The name and phone number of someone whose phone number is different than yours, to be your alternate contact person.
Your library card is valid for two years from the date of entry for residents, one year from the date of entry for non-residents, and three months from the date of entry for temporary residents.
